Shropshire Council's Street Works team have advised of the upcoming temporary road closure:
Road Closure: Hills Ford Rally (Cressage)
Start Date: 20 September 2026
End Date: 20 September 2026
Purpose: On Sunday 20 September a closed road rally takes place over five stages is Central/South Shropshire. Rally HQ based in Battlefield Livestock Market. Competing cars travel from Battlefield and between stages. Cressage Stage: between Cressage , Coundmoor, Upper Cound and Pitchford. Roads closed at various times as required by rally officials between 05:00- 20:00 with access windows as dictated by the organisers (Currently anticipated timings: morning access window closes at 07:15, lunchtime access 11:00-12:20, Road expected to be open 16:45 or when when safe to do so. No access when stage locked down by Police and rally officials. Avoid all works in the wider area. https://hillsfordstages.co.uk/.
